Nashville FHC takes pride in hiring experienced, energetic and encouraging coaches to help our players get the most from each session.
All of our coaches bring years of playing and coaching experience, ranging from coaching elementary school programs to playing in the Olympics, and everything in between.
NASHVILLE COACHES
- MADELYN DUGGLEBY -
Madelyn played 4 years at Washington and Lee University, currently plays with our adult league and has been helping coach since 2025. She will be leading the Elementary and Middle Program this 2026 season.
- ANI RODRIGUEZ -
Ani plays with our adult league and played in Club de Regatas Bella Vista where she coached for 6 years. She was born in Brazil and played for the Brazil National Team. She leads the 2026 Academy Team as well as coaches Ravenwood and our Fall 2026 Ravenwood JV Team.
Ney joined Nashville Field Hockey in the fall of 2024. She played for Limestone University for four years and during her time, started coaching goalies. She has trained in Holland, Amsterdam with some of the best goalies in the world and loves coaching our goalies. She is Franklin High School's Coach for the 2026 season.

- MEREDITH ZIMMERMAN -
Meredith is a Registered Dietitian by trade and currently work with our Veterans and is the newest coach for the 2026 Greater Nashville Team. Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, she moved to the area with my husband, who is active-duty Army.
She played at Marywood University and also had the opportunity to coach middle school field hockey at her alma mater, Pittston Area.
- MADELINE SANTSCHI -
Madeline joined NFHC as a coach in spring 2022 and now manages our umpires. She is an NCSA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. Before moving to Nashville, Madeline coached for Patrick Henry High School and the Typhoon Elite Field Hockey Club, and played at Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.

- SYDNEY CARR -
Sydney has umpired with NFHC for several years, and before coming to Nashville, played four years at D1 Kent State. She helps umpire during the high school season. Sydney is an active member of Nashville's adult group and also a local elementary school teacher.
- CASEY THOMPSON -
Casey is the Franklin High School Head Coach. She played 4 years for Boston University and started every game of the last 3 seasons. She became the first player in PL history to be named to the Academic All-PL team four times. She also coached NEE Club Team from 2018-2024.
- HANNA FRENCH -
Hanna has been coaching Nashville FHC for the past several seasons and currently leads our 2025 Travel Team and coaches our Ravenwood High School Team. Hanna played four years at Appalachian State University, and is an active player in the club's adult group.
- JESS PEOPLES -
Jess has been an active adult member of the club for several years and is currently the Club Director. Jess played four years at Miami University in Ohio.
- JORGIA HOPE -
Jorgia joined NFHC as a coach in fall 2022, having spent 10 years playing high school, university and club hockey in England. Jorgia is currently umpiring, and is an active player with the club's adult group. She has previously coached the Franklin High School Team. She'd love to coach a team in Mt. Juliet area where she now lives. If there are any willing parent sponsors to help with a team in this area, please contact us.
All our NFHC head coaches are USAFH coach members, including a background check and SafeSport certification.
